I'm exhausted

Science camp was this week. For those who don't know that means that we went to the Howell Nature Center Monday-Wednesday and did your typical camp type things of orienteering, hiking, wall climbing, eating good camp food, and of course bible study time. Atypically, we had a major storm move through that caused our evening campfire to be cancelled and a power outage. We played card games like spoons and Uno, and charades in the dark. Around bedtime we let the boys relieve themselves in the woods, while we took the girls on a long walk to a port-a-potty. What fun!

On Thursday we took a day trip to Toledo (as in Ohio) and went to COSI for the day. The kids had to do a scavenger hunt while there. After a long day at COSI we went to McDonalds for lunch, where one unfortunate boy in my class accidentally headed into the girls bathroom. I know that some day he'll look back and laugh, but at the time the poor kid was so embarassed; he turned red and cried.

Friday we took another day trip to Toledo and went to the Zoo where we packed picnic lunches and had a great time. We didn't get to see the whole zoo, but most of the kids will have other chances to see the zoo again, as will I.

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday I got home and took naps. And this morning I slept in till almost noon. I stayed in bed and read for a few hours. Then I got out of bed to read on the couch. I've stayed in my PJ's all day and feel very lethargic. I'm not sure if I feel crummy because of a lack of sleep all week, or because of allergies, or because I'm getting sick. Either way, I feel dreadful and am glad that I didn't have to see anyone today and don't care that the apartment is a mess.

Like I said, I'm exhausted.
